Shanthi Swaroopini
Shanthi Swaroopini was born in Vishakhapatnam and received her initial education in art at the Andhra University, from where she graduated BFA in Painting. She graduated MFA in Sculpture at the MS University, Baroda. She has been facilitated with many scholarships and fellowships by the Department of Culture of the Government of India, Lalit Kala Akademi, AIFACS, Inlaks Foundation and the Charles Wallace Trust Fellowship.  In 1998, she completed her second master’s in Fine Arts at the Kent Institute of Art and Design, University of Kent Canterbury, the United Kingdom. She has worked and learned Foundry Practice at Johnson Atelier, the USA. She has exhibited widely in India and overseas – US , UK and New Zealand. She currently works in Hyderabad.
